Here, you will make an impact by:Working cross-functionally to support annual strategic and operational planning processes, including executive-level strategy formulation and communicationSupporting Divisions in development of Division strategic plans and Quarterly Business Reviews to help ensure alignment to overall Business Group strategiesSupporting execution of Enterprise initiatives in collaboration with Corporate Strategy and Corporate FP&ADeveloping rigorous, fact-based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations; ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendationsInvestigating industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements to inform strategy and identify emerging opportunitiesSupporting strategic initiatives sponsored by Group President, VP SBD and other SIBG Operating Committee membersCreating professional PowerPoint presentationsYour Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionTen (10) years of experience in safety and industrial industry in a private, public, government or military environmentFive (5) years of experience in strategy, business development, general management and/or market analysis in a private, public, government or military environmentExperience with Microsoft PowerPoint and ExcelAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master of Business Administration degree from an accredited institutionSuperior analytical and problem-solving skills, including solid understanding of financial and statistical analysisAction-oriented, with emphasis on execution and resultsAbility to manage multiple work streams, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problemsAbility to synthesize structured and unstructured data into narrative and insightsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Power BI and think-cellWork location: Hybrid: Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to 3M Center 3 days per weekTravel: May include up to 15% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: Not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
