Position Summary & Location Acuity Brands is hiring a Focus Factory Cell Leader in Dallas, TX to help drive continuous improvement processes in alignment with our Better, Smarter, Faster operating system. This position works on site full-time from Dallas, TX (75261). Primary Responsibilities Include Leading and developing 20+ hourly employees in Better Smarter Faster tools. Driving safety, quality, and productivity performance in accordance with BSF and End User satisfaction. Determining daily manpower and work assignments for employees to adjust for fluctuations in demand. Working shifts, including weekends, without additional Leadership support. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent is required. Technical or Bachelors' Degree is preferred. 3+ years of experience from a high-volume cellular facility is required. Preferably from a manufacturing or distribution environment. 2+ years of previous leadership experience from a production setting is required. Experience with continuous improvement tools, including leading Kaizens is required. Experience in problem solving, KPI bowler, Pareto charts and RCCM, communication and conflict resolution is required. Experience driving to a poka yoke process to ensure inventory accuracy is highly preferred. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel. Able to read, write and speak English. Able to stand 10-12 hours per day, lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds frequently. Able to see, hear and comprehend in a noisy environment. Able to tolerate temperature ranges of 40 - 90 degrees F.
