Investment Banking Director

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Investment Banking Director to join their growing platform in New York. The successful candidate will play a critical role in originating, structuring, and executing equity transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, and private placements. This position requires a strong understanding of the equity markets, excellent client relationship skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior team members.Key Responsibilities:Lead the origination and execution of equity capital market transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, and private placements.Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, institutional investors, and other key stakeholders.Provide strategic advice to clients on equity financing options and market conditions.Oversee the preparation of marketing materials, including pitch books, offering memoranda, and roadshow presentations.Conduct financial analysis and valuation to support transaction structuring and pricing.Collaborate with internal teams, including research, sales, and trading, to ensure seamless execution of transactions.Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to provide informed advice to clients.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on equity capital markets.Proven track record of successfully leading and executing equity transactions.Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.Deep understanding of equity markets, securities regulations, and market trends.Discipline(s): Investment BankingJob type: Permanent
