About the Role

The Company is seeking an exceptional Vice President of Tax and Audit Services to play a crucial role in our team. In this position, you will be instrumental in driving client satisfaction and supporting our dedicated staff. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing multiple client engagements, facilitating effective communication, and acting as the main point of contact for clients within your department.

You will also have the opportunity to support your team in both assurance and tax areas through hands-on training and developmental initiatives, while stepping in on engagements as necessary. Additionally, you will collaborate with partners to enhance departmental systems, establish efficient protocols, and contribute to the firm’s growth and success.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Vice President of Tax and Audit Services position, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in public accounting
  • Current CPA licensure

A thorough understanding of US GAAP, SSARS, and GAAS is essential, with a preference for candidates experienced in the construction and real estate sectors. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required, while familiarity with ProSystem fx Engagement and CCH Tax will be considered advantageous.

We are looking for a candidate who possesses exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and research abilities, as well as expertise in staff supervision, including providing performance feedback and effective task delegation. In addition, you will be engaged in various firm initiatives such as staff education and technology enhancements, alongside marketing efforts to support the firm’s continuous development.
