You will lead your team to complete testing related activities through all phases of software development life cycles. You will drive process improvement to continuously optimizing release timeline and establish best practices for the team. You will:Demonstrate organizational talent and technical aptitude/understanding of Surgical Robotics systems and applications, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the drive to succeed in a matrix organization.Define, plan, organize and coordinate V&V activities with teams across multiple sites in accordance FDA and other regulatory requirements.Manage and develop software test talent within the organization and work with a cross-functional team to foster synergy in day-to-day operation.Lead in forecasting, effort estimation, resource & test planning, training, execution, and release activities.Aptitude for continuous improvement, identify and implement industry standard software test technology, methods, and tools.Well versed in different test development methodologies include Agile to enables breaking barriers across the organization.Oversee definition and implementation of different software testing techniques to increase test coverage.Lead the team to extend test automation. Use state-of-the-art Test Automation technology such as Model-in-the-Loop testing, in robotic testing.Must Have: Minimum RequirementsTo be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident in your applicant profile and on your resume. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.Nice to HaveExpert knowledge of Medical Product verification, IEC-62304 and FDA guidance in a technical discipline, preferably software related (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering) with a minimum of 10 years of software verification experience, or master’s degree plus 7 years related experience.Expert knowledge of Medical Product verification, IEC-62304 and FDA guidance.Thorough understanding of creating test protocols for verifying software requirements.Strong understanding of good documentation practices, various off the shelf test management systemsExperienced test automation in robotics or related industry.Ability to work with QA to ensure testing meets Quality and Regulatory needs.Ability to manage, track and upgrade multiple hardware and software configurations. Ability to work with Systems, Mechanical, Electrical and Software engineers when discovering, documenting, and resolving integration issues.Familiarity with tools used in control system design and testing, such as MATLAB, Simulink.Experience using a tool or repository for managing test cases (GIT Stash, JIRA, JAMA etc).
