Urgent/Convenient Care APP

This position will support Urgent Convenient Care Center in picturesque Cortland, New York.   The purpose of the Advanced Provider is to assist the physicians of the practice with clinical activities, surgeries and other direct patient care including diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative care.  Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners work under the direct supervision of practice doctors.

• Part Time .82   106-118 hours per month
• 10 or 12 hour shifts

• Abscess care
• Asthma - Mild to moderate
• Back pain (non-trauma related)
• Bone/joint injuries - Minor
• Burns, cuts, puncture wounds and animal bites - minor
• Cough
• Dehydration - Mild to moderate
• Dental pain
• Ear-pain/wax
• Eye - drainage, foreign body
• Facial lacerations (minor)
• Gastrointestinal illness
• Influenza
• Simple lacerations
• Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea
• Pregnancy testing
• Rashes and allergic reactions
• Sore throat
