Apply now to be a part of BlueHalo's commitment to excellence.WHAT YOU WILL DOAs a Network Administrator, you will:Analyze the planning, design, development, and implementation of system and network engineering plans for our Intelligence Community customers.Monitor all network facility activities to ensure high-quality data transmission.Provide technical support for customer-facing engagements, including design, testing, and service request responses.Debug and test networks, analyze technical projects, perform needs assessments, and oversee cost and benefit analyses.Conduct presentations, negotiations, installations, problem resolutions, procurements, and multi-vendor product integration.Support initial engineering and implementation of networks, ensuring proper execution and system resolution for failures or degradations.Provide project management and documentation as needed.Participate in and facilitate stakeholder meetings as required.Delegate tasks effectively to ensure project success.WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING10+ years of experience with network/system administration.BA or BS degree in CS, or 8+ years of network administration experience in lieu of a degree.Strong Linux experience with maintaining CENTOS and Redhat/RHEL.Experience deploying and maintaining VMWare ESXi hosts and managing numerous virtual machines.Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and/or Podman.Experience with Cisco networking devices, including device integration and configuration.Ability to maintain software development infrastructure across multiple environments.Initiative to make recommendations for infrastructure improvements.Security+ CE or equivalent (IAM Level II qualified).Excellent oral and written communication skills.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVES)Experience with Cisco Firepower and Threat Defense.Maintaining Cisco Firewalls and associated access lists.Managing Nagios deployments.Administering a RHEL Satellite server.Experience with Network Appliance (NetApp) storage arrays.Maintaining Windows 7 or Windows 10 desktop environments.Managing Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.Experience with Oracle hardware and Solaris OS (x86 and SPARC).Facilitating or implementing Information Security Best Practices (e.g., patching, IAVA remediation, POA&M development).Maintaining and administering Cisco networking devices.Knowledge of network cabling infrastructure (copper and fiber).Experience with Splunk logging and NESSUS vulnerability scanning.Familiarity with Kanban/Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Redmine.Salary Range: $175,000 - $220,000The BlueHalo pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
