The Apple Maps Infrastructure team that specializing in building and providing systems and infrastructure is seeking an outstanding software engineer to help build capabilities and services across various technologies in a hybrid cloud environment. The team is committed to supporting the Apple Maps business by building technological capabilities that enable business operations and optimize infrastructure efficiency. As a senior team member, you will be at the forefront of tackling challenging problems and addressing many use cases. Your role will involve delivering infrastructure solutions, enabling service teams to adapt and manage their services in a scalable, efficient, and optimized manner in a hybrid cloud environment. DescriptionWe are looking for a passionate and talented software engineer to focus on building and extending a robust and reliable continuous delivery platform. Our team is responsible for developing tools to manage deployment of complex, mission critical applications. This is a highly technical, hands-on role that provides exposure to managing infrastructure and applications across hybrid cloud including design and implementation of new approaches and tools for relativity, scalability, and continuous delivery within Maps. Minimum Qualifications5+ years of Industry experience in Full Stack Development and Kubernetes5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud providers like AWS or GCPAn interest in infrastructure, automation, and design of extensible and scalable software systemsProgramming and software design skillsAbility to clearly and concisely communicate technical and architectural problems, while working with partners to iteratively find solutionsExhibit proficiency in scoping and prioritizing tasks with a focus on incremental delivery and an iterative approach, ensuring adaptability to evolving project requirementsBachelor's in Computer SciencePreferred QualificationsAdvanced Kubernetes experience including container and orchestration platformsProficiency in Go and/or RubyExcellent communication skills and proven ability to work in a cross-functional environmentA strong sense of ownership and an unwavering commitment to excellence in all aspects of workPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
