Our expanding client is seeking a Tax Senior Manager role with a salary range of $150K to $175K plus bonus in Phoenix, AZ. This position offers a hybrid remote setup. The ideal candidate must have at least a decade of experience in public accounting, CPA or EA certification, and previous experience in a supervisory role. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s in Tax.The responsibilities of this position include working with affluent families and individuals to provide tax compliance, consulting, and wealth management services. Key duties comprise conducting client meetings, coordinating tax services, researching tax issues, staying updated on tax legislation, reviewing tax returns and projections, and participating in virtual meetings.This role necessitates exceptional leadership abilities to coach and manage team members, troubleshoot software problems, and enhance tax processes. Key attributes include the ability to foster collaborative relationships, effective communication skills, a strong sense of urgency, desire to contribute to the community, a selfless mindset, and integrity.This position offers the opportunity to work with a top-notch team, contribute to a positive work environment, and advance professionally in a supportive setting.Responsibilities:• Regularly engage in client communication and relationship management• Collaborate with external professionals to deliver comprehensive client services• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of tax services internally and externally• Perform thorough tax research and analysis to handle compliance and planning matters• Stay updated on tax legislation changes and share knowledge within the organization• Resolve complex client matters using expert judgment and experience• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation• Lead team operations to ensure data accuracy and quality control of reports• Review and validate tax-related deliverables, including returns and projections• Participate in virtual meetings and promote internal networking for enhanced efficiencyQualifications:• CPA or EA certification required• Over 10 years’ experience in public accounting, with preparation and review of various tax returns and tax planning• Previous supervisory/management experience• Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local income tax laws• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM, and tax preparation and research software like CCH Axcess (ProSystem Fx), Autoflow, and BNA Tax Planner• Strong planning, organizational, creative, innovative, and strategic thinking skills
