Urgent Care Physician

* Work Dates Needed: as soon as credentialed * Preferred Schedule: full time or PRN hours available; ideally will cover 8-10 shifts per month at minimum * Worksite Setting: Urgent care clinic; Mostly a single coverage center; 12 hours M-Sat & 9 hours on Sunday * Scope of Work: Urgent Care - Daily Patient Volume is 30-60. Clinics are busy and fast paced. Must be able to close lacerations, I&D, read X-ray and EKG, Work Comp experience a plus as well as DOT cert. MA s and RT. No nursing staff * Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Must be board certified in Family Medicine, Med/Peds or Emergency Medicine. TX license and DEA, ACLS, PALS, Physicians need to have 3-6 years of FP, ER, or Urgent Care exp. and must be comfortable with children under 3 months old. * EMR: Practice Velocity Posted Date: 2024-06-23
