Gastroenterology Physician

* Position: Gastroenterologist * Location: Westerly, RI * Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital * Start Date: September 20, 2024 * Contract Length: 26 weeks * Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (5 x 8-hour shifts per week) * Shift Description: Day shift, with no weekends * Coverage: Mixture of inpatient and outpatient, with night call (no weekends) * Average Daily Census: 15-20 patients * Patient Population: Adults * Procedures: General GI cases (mostly endoscopies; no ERCP/EUS required) * EMR System: EPIC * Hospital Bed Size: 108 * Support Staff: Includes nurses and medical assistants * Requirements: * Board Certification in Gastroenterology * State License in Rhode Island * DEA Certification * ACLS and BLS Certifications * Minimum 2+ years of experience * Credentialing Timeframe: 12-14 weeks
