Hospital: Mission Location: Asheville, NC Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue Unit Name : CV PreOp Building: E – The Heart Tower Cost Center: 705 General Information Unit Specifics : Number of Beds : 4 Patient Ratios : 1:1 Unit staffing description- RNs, support from CNC, secretary, Manager, etc. shared with CVOR Type of equipment : GE Carescape Monitoring, Fuji u/s Documentation system : Cerner Scheduling requirements: M-F 0 On Call Requirements: Stay late 1-2/week Floating policy: Within scope of practice and experience Patient Experience requirements: Critical Care experience a must, PreOp experience a plus Hospital Specifics- Certifications: BLS and ACLS H iring profile Requested Skill Set: BCMA, excellent documentation, ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area, excellent communication skills with interdepartmental team Must have : good critical thinking skills Advanced skills needed: ACLS Procedures performed on unit : large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, skin assessment, assist with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placement. Transport patient to OR; assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS Dress Code : (Required uniform) provided Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines .
