Job Title: Contract Administrator
Job Type: Full time; Consultant (13 Months Contract)
Location: Monroe, NC 28110
Schedule: Monday to Friday; First Shift 8AM-5PM
Pay Rate: $38.00 - $41.06 per hour
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for all matters related to contracts, ensuring that all negotiated terms and conditions are met and in compliance with company policies, financial goals, and legal requirements. You will collaborate closely with internal teams across various departments including Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain, as well as customer representatives, to facilitate smooth contract execution and address any issues that arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree required. In lieu of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience will be considered.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contract administration or related field. An advanced degree may reduce the required experience to 3 years.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft O365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong Excel skills (including financial modeling and reporting).
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interface & Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding all contractual matters. Build and maintain strong relationships with government and commercial clients.
Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of contracts, including meeting milestones, payment terms, and financial objectives. Address any discrepancies or issues that arise.
Collaboration: Work closely with Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Leadership to ensure that all contractual obligations are met and communicated clearly.
Contractual Support: Assist in obtaining customer approvals for quotes, resolve overdue accounts receivable issues, and request necessary information for processing units or deliverables.
Regulatory Compliance: Work with the International Trade Compliance team to ensure adherence to all import/export regulations, including relevant aerospace and defense industry guidelines.
Financial Management: Support internal financial goals, including milestones, progress payments, and cash collections. Monitor and manage payment terms and schedules.
Hardware Coordination: Coordinate with the customer and demand management teams to ensure timely and accurate hardware demand and supply chain alignment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience using SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
Familiarity with financial management, contract pricing, and budgeting.
Prior experience in the aerospace or defense industries.
Other Requirements:
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
Knowledge of import/export compliance and related regulations is a plus.
Pay Details: $38.00 to $41.06 per hour
