Finance Manager
Our client, a growing investment firm in the blockchain industry, is looking for a Finance Manager to join their finance team. This role offers the opportunity to assist with fund accounting, portfolio data management, portfolio valuation, and periodic regulatory reviews and audits. The successful candidate will help set best practices and raise operational standards in this emerging industry. This position is hybrid, with some days required in the office.ResponsibilitiesManage third-party outsourced fund administrators and provide timely/accurate transaction information
Review monthly NAV
Assist with quarterly ASC 820 valuations
Assist with year-end audit and tax preparation
Collaborate with other Finance team members and provide coaching when necessary
Contribute to investor relations communications
Assist with compliance and regulatory filings (ADV, PF, SEC, etc.)
Manage records retention – organize, file, and maintain fund financial records
Drive efficiencies and build out new processes
Special projects, as needed
RequirementsExperience with fund accounting and operations
Experience with managing third-party administrators
High attention to detail and strong organization skills
Thrives in a performance-driven, fast-paced, dynamic environment
Compensation:
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $170K - $190K per year.
