Job Quick Facts: - Specialty: Urgent Care - Job Type: Locum Tenens - Facility Location: Oklahoma - Edmond, Midwest City, Moore, Nichols Hills, Norman, Oklahoma City & Yukon - Service Setting: Outpatient - Reason For Coverage: Supplemental - Coverage Period: Nov 18, 2024 - Ongoing - Coverage Type: Clinical Only - Shift Schedule: 8-hrs & 12-hrs; 4-14 shifts/month - Mon-Fri; 8a-8p - Sat-Sun; 9a-5p - No OT - Patient Volume: 30-50 - Patient Demographics: Infants to Adults (6+ months) - Support Staff: MAs, Scribes, Rad techs (no RN/LPN) - Duties: - Willing to work w/ the support staff. - Required Procedures/Skills: - Minor procedures: Sutures, Sasts, Splints, reading EKGs & X-rays, Wound care, I&Ds, place IVs. - EKG & X-ray Onsite: Yes - Beds in Dept: 5 - EMR: Epic - Other Info: Can work blocks of shifts (weekends & weekdays) is preferred. - Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: - OK License - BC/BE in FM/EM/IM/Peds (If BE, within 5 years post residency) by ABMS or AOB - BLS - Comfortable w/ Epic - Trained to see both adults & peds - Flu Vaccination/exemption - COVID Vaccination (preferred) - Local (preferred)
