Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

Locum Pediatric Hospitalist need in Gallipolis, OH Looking for a physician for 1 week/month coverage Practice Details: 13 bed Pediatric Unit Level 1 Nursery - 2 RNs staffed each shift Babies delivered 35 weeks and up CYPAP machine in nursery Daily census in summer: 1-2 (allergy, cellulitis, injuries ie: wounds and breaks) Daily census in winter: 3-4 (asthma, pneumonia, RSV) NAS Unit: Keep them on labor/delivery for 5 days, then transfer, but would like to keep them locally Strong connections with Hoops Family Children's (Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV) and Nationwide Children's in Columbus, Ohio. EMR: McKesson Paragon (acute) and Athena (clinic) This is a physician-led, fully integrated health system with a built-in referral system of over 150 providers and more than 30 medical specialties. With over 450,000 ambulatory patient visits annually, the system serves Ohio and West Virginia across six counties. Our main hospital in Gallipolis is licensed for 266 beds and our critical access hospital in Jackson for 24 beds.
