This role will involve partnering with key stakeholders across the Consumer and Marketing business to deliver on the promise and opportunity of PayPal's vast data asset. You will be responsible for working with various business leaders and the solutions teams to establish standards and operating rhythm for teams to deliver on the most impactful programs and initiatives for the organization. We are looking for an individual contributor who can drive standardization and consistency across the organization.Job Description:Responsibilities:Proactive management of programs that are assigned to drive successful outcomesAct as a steward for driving consistency and standardization in managing/delivering programsPartner with Engineering teams to manage risks/issues and mitigation plansCoordinate planning and delivery efforts across various technology, vendor and Infrastructure teams Organize and lead release planning activities resulting in the creation of project or program roadmaps. Lead other technical engineers to ensure work is properly allocated, planned, and executed for multiple projectsManage major collective activities, issues, and risks across teams in support of the program or projectEnsure measurable KPIs are developed for projects, and that they align to the overall KPIs for the technology space.Manage stakeholder communication regarding Release Plans and Release deliveries. Ensure regular, active communication with adjacent project and external stakeholders, including international regions. Identify project impediments and address including proper escalation to individuals/groups as neededContributes to and demonstrates a solid understanding of program vision and roadmapMaintain awareness of cross product/program synergies and actively communicate opportunities to simplify work across teams. Skills:A successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience within program or project managementProject management experience organizing multiple teams performing infrastructure/software/product development is requiredBackground and/or experience within AI/ML is highly preferredExperience with data analysis and reporting is requiredSuccessful track record of managing complex development projects to deliver technical solutionsProven ability to develop effective, matrixed, cross-organization relationships, collaborating and communicating across business and technology stakeholders and multiple geographiesStrong technical acumen: experience in End User Services preferredStrong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate technical concepts and plans at all levelsExperience within FinTech, ecommerce or payments is preferredA Bachelors and/or Master’s Degree in a related field is preferred but not requiredAdditional Job Description:Subsidiary:PayPalTravel Percent:0-PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.Actual Compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to work location, and relevant skills and experience.The total compensation for this practice may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable), equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
