Full Time, NM, Honolulu, HI, US 30 days ago, Requisition ID: 1365 Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually Primarily responsible for small to mid-size commercial lines accounts. Generate new accounts and develop relationships with clients. Perform tasks associated with maintaining and servicing existing accounts in accordance with agency procedures and carrier guidelines. Must be a team player and work under minimal supervision. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist agent and/or account executive in handling and processing new and renewal commercial business. Pre-fill applications, create proposals or summaries, and attend client meetings with the agent. Assist clients with service needs and make changes to existing accounts. Recommend and assist agents with explanations of available coverage options, completion of forms, and rate quotations. Analyze new business applications, make recommendations by cross-selling or up-selling, and work with the agent to obtain any required information. Analyze renewals and/or renewal applications to assess coverage and recommend changes as needed. Re-market existing business, quote new business, process certificate of insurance requests, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs. Update renewal information and endorsement changes and enter information into the agency management system according to department procedures and standards. Inform and educate clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions, and insurance coverage needs. Work closely with agents on accounts and provide updates on all important activities as needed. Review expiration lists and initiate the renewal process. Contract review – insurance section; assist Agency Services with complicated contract certificates. Handle all rush certificate requests ( Work with the insured or prospect and prepare proposals and assist the agent as needed. Maintain client files and process routine correspondence, including preparing policy documents. Keep up to date on rates, forms, and coverage changes from insurance carriers and online resources. Work on special projects as assigned and complete deliverables by established deadlines. Assist other team members as needed to meet agency, team, and individual goals. Build and maintain relationships with carriers and brokers. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; college degree preferred. 3 to 5 years of commercial lines related experience/training. Equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training will be considered. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Producer Licensing required. CPCU, CIC or other Property/Casualty Designations preferred. Valid Hawaii Driver’s License and use of own vehicle required. An Equal Opportunity Employer Committed to an Inclusive Workplace.
