Lead Application Support Engineer Location: Hybrid role in Tampa (preferred), Dallas, Washington D.C., or Jersey City Salary: Up to $140,000 base with a 10% annual bonus potential Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a Lead Application Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role requires expertise in distributed application support and a wide range of technologies. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert-level support for distributed applications Manage and optimize application performance across various platforms Troubleshoot complex issues in diverse technological environments Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and efficiency Must-Haves: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Minimum 6 years of related experience, with at least 4 years in Distributed Application Support Strong experience in Java/J2EE, XML, HTML, JavaScript, and NodeJS platforms Hands-on experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, and SQL/PLSQL Proficiency in working with relational databases (DB2, Oracle, Snowflake) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS services, Azure, RDS Aurora, Postgres) Familiarity with Container platforms and Red Hat OpenShift Knowledge of monitoring and data tools (Splunk, HiPam, DynaTrace, IBM Zolda) Experience with middleware (Tomcat, WebSphere) and messaging queue systems (IBM MQ, Oracle AQ, ActiveMQ) The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to think creatively, and excel in a collaborative environment. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary of up to $140,000 with a 10-15% annual bonus potential. Tampa is the preferred location, but positions are also available in Dallas, Washington D.C., and Jersey City.
