Our client is a well-established Construction company in the Portland Metro area who are looking to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to their team.

This position focuses on the accounting for construction and service projects, with a variety of other tasks as the need and time permits. It requires a person who has strong computer skills, exhibits a friendly and professional demeanor, excellent analytical and organizational skills, prioritization and time management skills, and a service-oriented approach to their work and communications. The right candidate will also be self-motivated, a quick learner, reliable, and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Overview of the role: Accounts Payable Specialist
Accounts Payable processing - code and enter, seek approvals, and manage check runs - around 50-100 per week.
Responsible for accurate and timely data entry and records management in accounting software system and Excel.
Someone who can communicate well with management will thrive in this role.
Preferred Qualifications: Accounts Payable Specialist
Effective communication with all levels of employees and vendors.
Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong customer service orientation, flexibility and professionalism.
