The Event Assistant will help coordinate logistics, manage event setup and breakdown, communicate with vendors, and provide support during events to ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Support with logistical tasks, such as securing venues, arranging transportation, catering, and equipment rentals.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely deliveries and set-ups.
- Help with on-site event management, overseeing setup, guest check-in, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Assist with event marketing, including social media updates and post-event surveys.
- Provide administrative support such as answering emails, making phone calls, and maintaining event files.
- Assist with managing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure the event environment is welcoming and clean, both during and after the event.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Event Manager or Event Coordinator.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations with grace.
- Basic knowledge of event management software or tools is a plus (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent, etc.).
