Our platform streamlines the process of launching and iterating financial products.  Responsibilities:   Lead the solution design and implementation of core platform features Proven expertise in REST API Design and Implementation Functions as a core member of an Agile team driving User story analysis & elaboration, design and development of software applications, testing & builds automation tools, implementing new technologies and show case POC.  Develops and tests software, including ongoing refactoring of code & drives continuous improvement in code structure & quality. Takes part in reviews of own work and reviews of colleagues' work.  Defines test conditions based on the requirements and specifications provided.  Partner with the product teams to understand business data requirements, identify data needs and data sources to create data architecture   Provide Operational support with building platform monitoring tools/dashboards, ad hoc reports    Defect Fixes, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, Endurance testing  Leads multiple tasks effectively - progresses work in parallel   Adapts to change quickly and easily   Handles problems and acts on own initiative without being prompted   Qualifications:  Overall 5+ years of developing internet-scale solution development primarily using Java, Spring Boot and no-sql databases Extensive experience in designing and implementing secure, highly scalable, highly available enterprise systems Must have demonstrated proficiency and experience in the following tools and technologies:  o   Banking domain experience. o   Test Driven Development. o   Good implementation knowledge on Java Design Patterns (eg: Async, Circuit Breaker, CQRS). o   Java 11 (Lambdas, Streams, Completable Future, optional, generics)  o   Spring boot (webflux , Reactor 3), spring-data, REST  o   Java functional and reactive programming  o   Asynchronous Reactive Micro services utilizing Vert.x/Spring 3.x     o   REST APIs using Spring Boot 2.0 (reactive) and skilled in Open API (swagger) specification   o   Designing database schemas, index design, optimizations for query tuning and database performance o   Partner with the product teams to understand business data requirements, identify data needs and data sources to create data architecture  o   Documents data requirements / data stories and maintains data models to ensure flawless integration into existing data architectures o   Working knowledge of cloud technologies (eg:  docker, kubernetes, jager, prometheus)  o   Improve the use case journeys using cache technologies (eg.  Redis, Hazelcast)  o   Modern software engineering tools: git workflows, gradle, load testing tools, mock frameworks   o   Good knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, mq  o   Takes part in reviews of own work and reviews of colleagues' work.·       Working Knowledge of following tools and technologies:  o   REST APIs Specifications using Swagger  o   Data Governance Toolset: Collibra, Manta o   NoSQL databases: MongoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase  o   Practical knowledge of caching and distributed systems. o   Development Tool Central, XLR, Jenkins  o   Docker Image creation, Containers, PODs  o   Open Cloud Deployment and Troubleshooting  Analytical and problem-solving skills  Technical fluency - ability to clearly describe tradeoffs to technical and non- technical audiences alike to help support product decisions.  Highly organized with strong prioritization skills and outstanding written and verbal communication - you are great at research and documenting your learnings.  A bachelor's degree.   QualificationsSalary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
