Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/09/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Position Summary: Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients and ensure the needs of individual patients are met.Operates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment including but not limited to x-ray.Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician. Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws; ensures the physician on duty is notified of the results. Submission Requirements 2 Years of Experience - Required Must have OR experience - RequiredExperience with X-ray - Required Travel - Required BLS must be AHA - must be willing to obtain prior to start Health system-wide profile standardsReferences NOT required.A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required.
