Job Description
Turner & Townsend is seeking a
Financial Accountant
versed in
D365
that is an experienced and analytical individual to join our Houston Real Estate Office. This role will be responsible for the preparation and support of monthly operational financial reports and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reports in
D365
. Furthermore, this individual will be responsible for collaborating with the wider business in the aggregation of financial information to assist in the documentation, review, and communication.
A minimum of three days in-office working is required in Houston, Texas
Duties Include:
Track financial performance against budget monthly and annually
Manage and update monthly forecasts and provide variation reports
Reconcile actuals vs. forecasted amounts per month
Review profitability and identify areas for improvement
Review and track project financial performance
Set up and regulate revenue by job code for projects with multiple job numbers
Review debtor days/debt collection and support project teams in accounts receivable
Regularly update D365 opportunity tracker
Track invoicing monthly via D365
Maintain and support project team in Internal Controls and SOX compliance
Ensure all reports comply with GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and best practices.
Key Attributes
Proficiency in analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
Experience in financial software, Dynamics 365 is mandatory. Experience utilizing data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
Managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines under pressure.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
Proven 2-5 years of post-grad experience in financial analysis and reporting, or related role. Experience in construction is preferred, but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of GAAP financial reporting standards.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Effective communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to various stakeholders.
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The salary range for this full-time role is $65K-$80K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.
