Job Description:

Glacial Lakes Energy (GLE), a corn ethanol industry leader, is looking to fill a Commodities Support Specialist position in Mina. The primary responsibility of the Commodities Support Specialist is to provide support to internal and external customers in the procurement and sales of grain commodities. The Commodities Support Specialist is responsible for contract management, administration, and scheduling for corn, coproducts, and ethanol. Employment for this position is conditioned upon successfully passing certain pre-employment requirements.

Essential Job Functions: Coordinate activities amongst commodities and operations staff to include commodities pricing, availability of product, customer counter bids, production trim rate, hours of loading, off-spec product, new customer set up, etc. Utilize AGRIS software to enter and manage contracts effectively, accurately and timely Utilize One Weigh and camera system to manage load numbers and tickets at Aberdeen, Mina and Huron Reconcile transactions and trade activity Review commodity sales requirements, production and storage capacity ensuring proper scheduling and support Manage customer account information, contract and A/R balances Deliver accurate price quotes to customers Review logistics activity and prepare bills of lading for rail cars in a backup role Provide exceptional internal and external customer service Safe work practices are a condition of employment. Report any safety issue or problem to your supervisor and safety coordinator immediately Focus on continuous improvement in all aspects of the job Actively promote GLE's vision, mission, and values with employees, outside vendors, and customers Be depended on to report to work at the scheduled time and is seldom absent from work Be depended upon to complete work in a timely, accurate and thorough manner Other duties as assigned Education/Experience/Competencies:

High school diploma or equivalent is required Associate degree in related discipline preferred One (1) to three (3) years of relevant office experience preferred Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external roles Must have general understanding of futures and commodity prices The ability to prioritize tasks; and the ability to gather and analyze information skillfully Confidentiality required with excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to details required Strong interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office required Experience with Agris is preferred Must be able to communicate clearly in English
