We currently have a position open for a

Senior Accountant

in our corporate office in Whitsett, NC located between Burlington and Greensboro. The right candidate must be ready to work on-site within a fast-paced, fun and professional, team-oriented environment!

In this role the right candidate will support the analysis and preparation of periodic financials by working closely with all areas of medi. The Senior Accountant will need to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, be able to adapt to changing circumstances, manage a variety of projects, be proactive and always maintain a positive attitude. This position reports directly to the Controller. The candidate for this position will be enabled to perform the duties listed below, and others as needs arise:

Summary:

Provide management with financial summaries and analysis, actively participate in the monthly closing process, and support all functions of the accounting department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Assist in preparation of financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the General Ledger (GL) and from other reporting sources Perform analysis of financial statements and communicate observations Assist in completion of month-end accounting activities, which include but are not limited to:

Fixed asset tracking Department and product level analysis Creating and posting various GL journal entries

Assist in annual budget processes/costing of products Research, interpret and analyze information - communicate responses and insights through spreadsheet reporting and other applicable methods Participate and assist with special projects that support the goal of continuous improvement in processes and growth within the company Maintain and update professional knowledge by participating in continuing education Required Skills

Strong working knowledge of GAAP Fixed asset experience Experience with intercompany transactions Deadline oriented Attention to detail Interpersonal skills, effective written and verbal communication Skilled with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools Education and Experience

4-year accounting degree is required 2-3 years of general accounting experience that includes financial reporting E-Commerce business experience a plus CPA Certification not required but a plus
