Position Template Facility Name: UofL Jewish Floor: 5 Towers Location Address: 200 Abraham Flexner Way Louisville, KY 40202 Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN Specialty: Advanced Heart Failure Intermediate PCU Number of Openings: 1 Shift: 6:45PM - 7:15AM Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekend Hours: Every other Call Requirements: None Years of Experience: 2+ Float Requirements: Yes- Any other PCU or Med Surg Units Number of Beds: 21 Patient Ratios: 3-5:1 depending on acuity Equipment: Ventricular assist device (HM2, HM3), HVAD, EVA Heart, Total Artificial Heart, Trilogy vent, CADD pump, alaris IV pumps, Heart Transplant EMR: Cerner Job Requirements
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH & KY License Must Have Skills/Experience: Cardiac PCU experience, Experience with Cardiac care patients and gtts (Dobutamine, Dopamine, Primacor, Heparin, Cardizem, Amio, NTG, Protonix, Sans statin) Preferred Skillset/Experience: Cerner experience, VAD, cardiac and advanced Heart failure experience, Heart Transplant Type of Patients on Unit: Cardiac Personality Fit: Team player, motivated, willing to learn new skills Schedule Information
