Job Description: Our client located in Providence, RI is looking for a Project Manager to join their team. The Project Manager will be responsible for Communication, Training and Change Management, Business Analyst Support, Project Management, Vendor Management, and Testing and Validation.
Responsibilities
Provide Project Management expertise in the oversight of a system implementation. Clarify and resolve issues. Review and assist in managing a RAID log (risks, actions, issues, decisions) Review and assist in managing RASCI matrix (responsible, accountable, supportive, consulted, informed) throughout the entire program. Create and update weekly PMO status reports of the project, coordinate with vendor on content for weekly team meetings to highlight accomplishments, upcoming activities, updates to RAID log and project plan. Ensure risk management and lead conflict resolution. Coordinate the implementation phase in conjunction with software vendor partner(s) and stake holders from State (SMEs, program management etc.). Lead the post-implementation phase including coordinating resources and providing direct assistance with troubleshooting of production support issues, deployment/cutover, period close activities and system/business process optimization, identification of additional training opportunities / content delivery mechanisms, as required. Help establish a 'super user' network of business SMEs who can continue to support the system and associated processes during the implementation phase as we near phased go-live events and throughout the post- implementation phase. Coordinate with Management team, SMEs, stakeholders, and business leaders Facilitate Training and Guidance Coordinate & Assist with Requirement gathering Lead review of the vendor Scope Document Lead review of the vendor Business Requirement Document, Functional Requirement Document Lead review of the vendor User Stories, Acceptance Criteria Lead review of the vendor use cases Lead review of the vendor and Perform User Acceptance Testing Monitor Project Performance; Monitor project status and ensuring timely completion of the tasks. Required
The candidate is expected to have at least 7 to 10 years of PM experience with multiple previous implementations large software programs from a variety of system integrators. Prior State or other government experience is a plus. Exceptional communication skills (e.g. verbal, written, presentation) and time management skills (e.g. ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines). Salesforce implementation experience required.
