A Day in the Life of an Audit Staff Accountant...
Planning and carrying out day-to-day audit engagement activities for charitable, governmental, and for-profit clients. Performing a variety of accounting and auditing tasks. Supporting the growth of new clients; getting involved in client meetings, briefings, and proposal creation. Developing clear and simple work documents. Executing numerous procedures established to evaluate the accuracy and validity of the client's financial affairs. Addressing accounting and audit concerns, offering the client suggestions for improvement. Interacting with key client management to obtain information in a proactive manner. Learning to invest time in business development to cultivate external ties that will lead to greater firm growth. SEK CPAs & Advisors Benefits & Perks:

We are currently looking for a recent or upcoming graduate to join the Audit team in SEK's Camp Hill office.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance. Eligible to sit for CPA exam or planning to become eligible. Internship experience with a public accounting firm preferred. Excellent technical accounting skills with proficiency in GAAP and GAAS. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to deal appropriately with confidential information. Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications.
