Job Title: Hand Solder Technician (1st Shift)Job DescriptionPerform repetitive or standard hand solder production assembly operations on electronic assemblies and subassemblies. This role involves hand soldering on PCB's, soldering wire harnesses to boards or PCBs, and using common soldering practices.ResponsibilitiesPerform repetitive or standard production assembly operations on electronic assemblies and subassemblies.Hand solder on PCB's.Solder wire harnesses to boards or PCBs.Inspect own work for defects and perform touchup/rework on through hole and SMT assemblies.Route jumpers.Use microscopes for high-magnitude work.Follow documentation and procedures.Select correct equipment, tools, and supplies for jobs.Perform mechanical assembly of small electrical components.Use epoxy and RTV or other adhesives as needed.Essential SkillsClass 2 experienced hand soldering.Familiarity with basic solder (Class 3).Basic component ID certification.Knowledge of materials such as alloys and flux types.Ability to hand solder SMT/TH/wires and cables using a microscope.Basic math skills.Ability to recognize and distinguish colors.Ability to read and write English.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of component preparation and manual insertion of electrical components onto printed circuit boards.Experience with electronics assembly and quality control.Comfortable working with potentially odorous, non-toxic adhesives.Ability to perform work in a clean room environment with required attire.Why Work Here?The company values its employees and their well-being, providing an employee dedicated to wellness. Employees must be comfortable with a significant amount of overtime after training, including weekends. The work is performed in a clean room, requiring full bunny suit attire with foot covers, mouth covers, gloves, and hair nets.
