Valiant Integrated Services has an exciting opportunity for a
Cyber Planner
supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's (DTRA) Advance Red Cyber program in executing Red Team Assessments. Red Teams perform assessments from an adversarial viewpoint and use the full spectrum of identified adversarial capabilities, limited only by restrictions mandated by the customer and legal, safety, and security constraints, to test and evaluate protection strategies and demonstrate exploitation of identified vulnerabilities. The
Cyber Planner
has the opportunity to be a liaison between customers, external stakeholders, assessment site POCs, and DTRA's technical SMEs in order to maximize the effectiveness and safety of cyber assessments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Liaises between customers, external stakeholders, assessment site POCs, and DTRA's technical SMEs in order to maximize the effectiveness and safety of cyber assessments. Understands customer assessment objectives and the technical requirements necessary to meet those objectives. Ensures the rules of engagement for cyber assessments abide by all applicable DoD and DTRA policies and procedures. Drafts, coordinates, and maintains assessment-specific documents for network connection authorization, rules of engagement, and trusted agent agreements for assigned cyber activities. During assessments, acts as the primary liaison between DTRA's technical SMEs and assessment customers and trusted agents, facilitating answers to questions or concerns that may arise during an assessment. Certifications: Top Secret Security Clearance required TS/SCI Security Clearance preferred Work Environment/Physical Demands: Hybrid work schedule - 4 days in office, 1 remote Typical office environment, extensive domestic and international travel, extreme weather conditions. Sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods of time, lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds. Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing Cyber Assessments.
