What This Job Involves: Takes responsibility for the activities and staff managing the tactical building of multi-year real estate capital plans, while strategically advising clients on the management, performance, and utilization of their plan. Leverage experience in cost and schedule management, financial planning, facilities management and construction project management to identify areas of opportunity for clients to save time, money, resources and reduce risk. Ownership of all data in the AdaptiveWork capital planning module, managing accuracy, and flow of accurate data to established AdaptiveWork and BI reports and dashboards. Ensure analysis of the client dataset to generate thoughtful insights such as opportunities for bundling, strategic sourcing and prioritization recommendations. Establishes a trusting partnership with both client and on-account leadership; builds immediate credibility, drives confidence, and deflects conflict under stressful and time sensitive situations. Collaborates effectively with the integrated JLL team to bring the full power of JLL capabilities to the client. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like: Takes responsibility for activities in accordance with established client Capital Planning governance calendar and continuous improvement roadmap. Analyze client data for efficiency gains and bundling opportunities to combine requests across the different workstreams into one project. Ensure the development and review of business need/justification, scope, budget, and risks for project submissions. Ensures data is collected following completion of our service and feed this into our internal benchmarking system. Conduct review meetings with internal and stakeholders to review capital planning deliverables and KPIs. Work with internal and external clients to ensure the accuracy and continuous improvement of the capital forecast. Build rapport with internal and external client functional areas and ensure overall goals of the capital plan are fully understood. Effectively manages client and JLL on-account team expectations and instils confidence with clear, concise, and proactive communication. Drive technology enablement and adoptions with internal and external clients. Development and refinement of best practices and standards of excellence and ensure their incorporation into the Capital Planning process and procedures documentation. Stays informed on changes to the PDS processes, systems and reporting and contributes to strategic client initiatives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Preference towards Finance, Engineering, or Construction Management. Expert understanding of building systems (MEPFS and architectural). Aggregates and translates outputs into marketable deliverables (i.e., Case Studies, White Papers, and quarterly metrics). 10+ years in real estate and construction program/process management. 10+ years of experience developing project charters (scope, schedules, budgets, business justifications and risk assessments) for a diverse set of real estate and construction projects. Ability to generate AACE level 4-5 cost evaluations; capable of working conceptually and qualifying unknowns leveraging established guidelines established by Project controls platform. Ability to work collaboratively, independently and through ambiguity to create structure and consensus. Stays informed on changes to the JLL PDS processes, systems and reporting innovations and contributes to strategic client initiatives. Demonstrated understanding of real estate and construction finance principles. Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements and advise senior executives via reports, written communications and oral presentations. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AdaptiveWork Capital Planning module. Expert level in Excel, Smartsheet; BI principles. Professional certification in project management (i.e., PMP). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Familiarity with procurement and tendering processes. Estimated total compensation for this position: 210,000.00 – 235,000.00 USD per year The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed.
