Residential & Community Living promotes a self-regulated environment for the residents of University residence halls and apartments. Brief Summary of Job Duties: The Assistant Director of Student Conduct is a full-time, career staff member who serves as a member of the management team within Residential & Community Living (R&CL). Responsibilities include: Assist the Director with the adjudication of university-wide cases referred for disciplinary action. Maintain the administrative hearing processes as identified in the Student Conduct Code. Oversee administrative case management and response coordination for student residents. Directly supervise 3 FTE staff (Conduct Officers). Lead the student conduct team in the expansion and implementation of residential curriculum. Ensure Conduct Officers maintain a clear understanding of administrative procedures. Facilitate and manage training for student conduct across all levels in R&CL. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. 4-6 years of experience in student conduct administration. Experience supervising full-time professional staff. Strong leadership skills. Advanced knowledge of managing high-level conduct cases. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Higher Education or related field. 2-4 years of experience directly supervising full-time staff in Higher Education.
