CRM Manager
The CRM Manager will work with enrollment and marketing specialists, academic decision support, and school leadership at Pitt Business to facilitate the use of a CRM system, such as Salesforce and Marketing Cloud.
This role will be involved in tracking prospective students within a recruitment application, an email service provider, and will oversee the data imports of prospective students.
A strong understanding of CRM system capabilities and limitations will be essential. This role will provide governance and guidance on best practices of using a CRM system, including data standardization. The ability to translate somewhat technical details of the CRM system into easily understandable language is necessary. The CRM Manager will work collaboratively with peers at Pitt Business and central enterprise CRM administrators, and thus must have the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
Experience in higher education is expected. Super user-level experience with a CRM and understanding of a CRM lifecycle, preferably in a student recruitment or tracking context, is preferred. However, a motivated individual with a willingness to learn could also fit this role. Experience with reporting and dashboarding tools, such as Excel and Tableau, are a plus.
Additional responsibilities will include:
Acting as a super user who can compile training resources, documentation, and best practices for recruitment and marketing users of the CRM system. Creating reports and dashboards on CRM tool usage, performance indicators, campaign success, and other relevant trends and analytics. Working closely with central enterprise CRM administrators to implement custom recruitment application enhancements when needed. Knowing when and how to reach out to enterprise admins for troubleshooting and assistance. Staying up to date with technical professional development to ensure that Pitt Business is taking advantage of tools available within the CRM system to increase student enrollment, engagement, and retention. Monitoring data imports and assisting with data automations. Updating report and dashboard components. Helping to design/create prospective student campaigns and reports. Aiding with email testing, email data filters, and email templates. Job Summary
Evaluates business requirements and performs moderately advanced data integration and analysis. Develops moderately advanced analytical and reporting tools utilizing integrated data. Provides technical support.

The nature of the work is typical office work and requires accurate analysis and confidentiality.
Physical Effort
The position is primarily sedentary within an office environment. Employee will be expected to travel on campus for appointments.
