In this pivotal role, you will oversee the execution of data projects that align with our company's goals and strategic initiatives. Your expertise will be vital in building and modernizing our data engineering infrastructure to facilitate seamless ingestion, integration, modeling, and transformation of large datasets. This position calls for a visionary leader with a substantial background in data technologies and a proven history of executing a comprehensive data strategy. You will mentor a world-class team of data and platform engineers, ensuring data security, quality, and accessibility while collaborating closely with our SVP of Data Analytics to drive our technical data strategy forward. To be successful in this role, you should possess: At least 15 years of experience in data leadership, managing large data engineering teams. Deep expertise in modern data and cloud technologies. A strong foundation in data governance, quality, and security. Proven success in scaling engineering organizations and leveraging data science tools to address complex business challenges. Experience in consumer or retail technologies is highly advantageous. A background in agile environments and leading urgent support teams is a plus.
