Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality, design, and process standards. This role requires a professional with expert knowledge in NPDES permitting and significant experience in the Greater Philadelphia, Southeastern PA, and parts of NJ markets. The position is fully remote but requires proximity and a network in the Philadelphia/Southeastern PA region.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality, design, and process standards.
Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, managing their expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and manage project timelines, coordinating with various teams to ensure deadlines are met.
Oversee the submission of necessary documents to governmental agencies and present project proposals.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop project objectives and strategies.
Monitor project budgets and prepare contracts, change orders, and client invoices.
Proactively manage projects through pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases in cooperation with the Construction Department.
Must Have:
Degree in civil engineering or similar stormwater design experience.
Professionally licensed engineer or landscape architect with stormwater design experience.
Expert knowledge in NPDES permitting.
10+ years of experience in the Greater Philadelphia, Southeastern PA market, and parts of NJ.
Experience in project management, construction management, engineering, and design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in landscape architecture and design.
Strong project management and construction management skills.
Proximity and network in the Philadelphia/Southeastern PA region.
Work Environment
The role is fully remote, but candidates must be located near Philadelphia or Southern New Jersey.
