We are currently hiring a National Account Manager to join our commercial team!

The CPG division is a fast growing component within Bagel Brands. Through our CPG business, we are able to serve our branded bagels to thousands of grocery store shoppers by being available where they already shop for their families.

The National Account Manager will lead customer relationships with Bagel Brands CPG retailers. This role is accountable for managing performance and identifying areas for growth within existing customer base.

We are targeting $110,000-$130,000 base salary with annual 15% bonus potential.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Develops and maintains relationships with National Accounts

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for national account customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues

  • Primary focus will be on customers such as: Kroger, Walmart, Target, Publix, Amazon

  • Develop and manage customer promotional plans and sales strategies to achieve revenue targets

  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure alignment on product offerings and promotions

  • Collaborate with sales team members to share insights and best practices

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to management

  • Develop customer level sales forecasts

  • Manage broker network, oversee and coordinate activities of external brokers to ensure alignment with sales objectives

  • Audit customer program execution

  • Analyzes customer data and provides insights, adjust strategies based on performance data and feedback

  • Negotiations for promotional agreements with national accounts

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts

  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging market opportunities

  • Secondary focus will be distributor partners (KeHE, GFI)

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to build internal and external facing presentations

  • Self-starter, takes an idea and runs with it

  • Bring ideas to improve process, curiosity mindset

  • Demonstrates customer leadership, is the face of the organization to National Accounts

  • Collaborative approach to problem solving - cross functional leadership across the organization

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, takes on challenges, everyday is a new challenge

  • Demonstrates ability to develop account level distribution, promotion, pricing plans

EDUCATION - TRAINING - EXPERIENCE

  • Experience managing broker network

  • Experience with industry trade shows

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and delivering against customer targets

  • 5-7 years of experience in sales within the CPG industry required

  • Experience calling on national accounts required (Kroger preferred)

  • 25% travel required to attend trade shows and customer meetings

Compensation Range:

Annual Salary: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 (depending on experience and location)
