Responsibilities of the Staff *****
Participate in the month-end close process with timeliness and precision.
Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, such as reporting and analysis, treasury management, and general ledger accounting.
Reconcile, analyze, and track assigned general ledger accounts, resolving any discrepancies.
Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and analysis of financial and non-financial data, including revenue and expense analysis, projections, and variance explanations.
Assist Senior Accounting Leadership with the fiscal year budgeting process, evaluating performance against budget, and developing accurate financial forecasts.
Provide support for the annual financial audit and tax process conducted by our independent CPA firm.
Identify opportunities for streamlining automation and process improvement.
Job Requirements of the Staff Accountant
Associates or Bachelors degree in accounting.
2+ Years Experience in Accounting with exposure to month end, budgeting and more.
Critical thinker with attention to detail.
Desire to learn and develop, actively seeking solutions and asking questions.
Professional, dependable, and warm attitude.
