Start: December and January start dates available Shift: 36 or 48 hour option, Nights Years Required: 2 year 1st Time Travelers: Accepted Ratios: 1:2 Beds: 20 Float Requirement: Yes, to units of equal or lesser acuity Weekend Coverage: Every other; every third Equipment: EPIC, GE monitors Job Requirements Certification Requirements: BLS, ACLS, NIH Preferred Certifications: PALS, TNCC Skills Required: Surgical ICU, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, Chronic/acute renal failure, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, IVs, continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips, hypothermia protocol, Assist with management of CPAP/BiPAP, care of ventilated patient, HFNC, interpretation of ABGs, suctioning, ventilator management, infection prevention, isolation precautions, surgical wounds with drains/wound vac Schedule Information Nights Unit Specific Information 100 mile radius rule in effect. The traveler must live at least 100 miles from the facility. If they live within 100 miles from the facility, they are not qualified.
