Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an organized and collaborative individual to join our Application and Project Engineering team. This role will be responsible for supporting quotes and project management of configured and engineered product for our Albin peristaltic pump line

. An Application Engineer works with a team to ensure the efficient and accurate pre-sale and post-sale support activities for industrial products serving the water treatment, oil/gas, and/or petrochemical industries while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, communicative, adaptable and can meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

Application and Project Engineering:

Review industrial and municipal RFQ's and specifications, and provide application engineering expertise in special applications (i.e. conceptual design of special configurations, evaluation of existing designs, basic modification of existing designs, etc.)

Prepare and submit quotations and technical bid documents for configured and engineered-to-order products to include pumps, accessories and skid systems, utilizing a variety of product selection tools, internal ERP system and technical resources

Provide technical and commercial support to Regional Sales Managers, channel partners, and end users

Provide project management for pumps and skid system orders requiring special designs, submittal packages, special documentation, testing and inspection from order receipt through customer acceptance

Customer Support:

Coordinate with internal departments and outside suppliers for quoting and project management purposes

Represent the company in customer meetings and coordinate commercial and technical negotiations as needed

Assist with aftermarket application support and troubleshooting

Sales:

Ability to quote, estimate and order management

Evaluate opportunities with new customers

Training and Development:

Participate in training programs to improve engineering skills and product knowledge

Identify training needs, coordinate sessions as required, and maintain training documents

Follow all policies and procedures (i.e. report on time and ready to work - Start/Lunch/Breaks

Quality Control:

Participate in production and quality discussions as needed

Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors promptly

Attend monthly EHS trainings

Cleanliness and Organization:

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)

Qualifications:

Bachelors' degree in Engineering, required

3-5 years of related experience in quoting and/or project management preferred

Experience with industrial products in municipal water treatment, oil/gas, and/or petrochemical industries preferred

Experience with peristaltic or other metering pump technologies, a plus

Ability to troubleshoot and support customer's requests

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Proficient computer skills (i.e. log on credentials (SSO), JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirement

Fully site based
