Sr. Developer - Java

Role: Lead/Sr. Software Developer – Java, KDB, Rest/SOA architecture
Location: NYC, NY -10013 (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion
Job Duties:
• Designing, developing, and maintaining suite of Risk Management Applications for Intra-day risk management.
• Work with Business analysts and users in driving system requirements, integration requirements and provide technical recommendations.
• Unit testing, Integration testing, and deployment of Components/Applications to Production
• Collaborate with other developers within the team to complete project deliverables.
• Ensure overall quality of deliverables is consistent with high quality standards.
Skill Requirement:
• Must have strong experience in Core JAVA.
• Some experience on KDB.
• Experience in streaming frameworks like Flink / Samza would be a big plus.
• Knowledge of Financial products like Bonds, Derivative and Risk parameters like Delta, Gamma, and Theta.
• Experience with RESTful Web Services/SOA architectures and Design Patterns
• Strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Self-motivated individual and a team player
• Looking for 7-10 years of overall experience
