Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/23/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Requirements: A North Carolina or compact license is required. Minimum 1 year of experience is required. Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty. Flu vaccination is required. (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) Certs: Chemotherapy administration certification is required prior to start; required to obtain prior to start. Will accept travelers that do not currently have the ONC cert BLS. Skills: Administer chemo. Experience in an inpatient setting is required, Med/Surg, Colostomy care, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Heparin, Insulin, Chemotherapy Administration, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Note: -Travel rate is available for local travelers if their start date is on or before 12/16. -RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
