Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting Senior

The ideal Senior Financial Reporting and Technical Accountant will have familiarity of public filings and SEC regulations with an emphasis on stock-based compensation and equity accounting. The position will take responsibility for all stock-based compensation and equity accounting. Additional responsibilities include preparation of financial statements, footnote disclosures and variance analyses. This position will work across the finance organization as well as other key teams such as Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Legal, Investor Relations, People and Culture, and other business partners. You will join an amazing team of Accounting and Finance professionals.

What will the Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting Senior do?
Responsible for the roll forward and maintenance of periodic filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K, housed in Active Disclosure, SEC filing software including XBRL.
Responsible for the preparation of the quarterly and annual GAAP checklist.
Execute controls to support compliance with SOX 404 in the SEC reporting area, including the maintenance of tie-out support.
Assist with review of quarterly earnings press releases and investor relation materials.
Review new contracts for revenue recognition implications in accordance with ASC 606.
Perform the monthly FX rate analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of the FX rates uploaded into the general ledger.
Prepare supporting schedules for statement of changes in stockholders equity including NCI.
Assist in the preparation and review of the Statement of Cash flows for accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
Assist with the compilation of the Companys board minutes and analyze for financial statement impact.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and footnote disclosures.
Assist in preparation and review of consolidated flux analysis of quarterly financial results
Support the internal and external quarterly and annual review/audit engagements by preparing PBC lists and schedules.
Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting and disclosure requirements.
Special projects as needed.
What we need in a Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting Senior:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA designation required
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in public accounting or 6+ years of a mix of public and private
Proficient knowledge of U.S. GAAP, specifically as it relates to stock-based compensation (ASC 718) accounting and earnings per share (ASC 260)
Strong Excel skills and the ability to manipulate large data sets
