Reports To: Sales & Events Manager
HospitalityHQ is looking for an Event Coordinator to support event and catering sales for a private event space and food hall. This role requires a dynamic and results-driven individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Event Coordinator will work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
Responsibilities:
Support the Sales & Events Manager in the planning and execution of events.
Assist in detailing comprehensive event orders, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Create floor plans tailored to client needs and event requirements.
Conduct site visits to showcase the venue and address client questions.
Serve as a junior salesperson during peak business periods, assisting with inquiries and bookings.
Collaborate closely with operations and culinary teams to ensure understanding of menus and client needs.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude while engaging with clients, vendors, and team members.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years previous experience in events, hospitality, or related field required
Passion for catering and event sales, with a desire to advance in the industry.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in event planning software (e.g., Tripleseat) is a bonus.
Working Conditions:
Full-time hourly position with occasional evening and weekend hours required for events.
