Description -Implement and oversee day-to-day accounting functions for large manufacturing company -GAAP compliance - Collects, analyzes, and interprets financial data and recommends changes to improve operations and financial performance -Manage and oversee inventory, including consistent cycle counts performed, ensuring proper cost analysis and accountability -Directs budgets and cost controls, financial analysis, accounting practices and reporting -Perform all closing procedures -Prepares monthly reports of results, monthly forecasts, annual operating plan, and strategic planning -Achieves budget and forecasting objectives by scheduling expenditures; variance analysis and initiating corrective actions -Maintains the general ledgers for multiple entities and accurate records -Oversees and manages small accounting staff - Manage benefits administration process and general human resources functions
Requirements -6-10 years of hands-on financial and accounting experience in manufacturing or related industry required -Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred -Sage 100 experience is a plus -Strong knowledge of internal controls and GAAP - Experience in inventory management and controls required -Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook required -Excellent communication and people skills To Apply Send your resume in MS Word format to Sheri Wright, sheriw@denham.net or call (559) 222.5284 if you have any questions.
