This role will manage supplier relationships, ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, and work cross-functionally with internal teams to support production goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing, supply chain management, and vendor negotiation, with a focus on driving efficiency and cost savings. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the purchasing team to ensure timely procurement of raw materials, packaging, and other necessary supplies Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring reliability and competitive pricing Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure favorable terms and cost savings Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts while minimizing excess inventory Collaborate with production and logistics teams to align purchasing with production schedules and demand forecasts Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for process improvement Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from order placement to delivery Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability goals Report on purchasing performance, including cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory management metrics Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or food & beverage industries Proven negotiation skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently Experience with procurement software and tools; proficiency in Microsoft Excel required Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (preferred) Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career growth Collaborative and dynamic work environment If you're an experienced purchasing professional looking to make a significant impact within a leading manufacturing company, we'd love to hear from you.
