SAIC is seeking an Administrative Assistant that motivated and organizational-minded to support an expanding Program Management Organization based in Middletown, RI.
The candidate will be required to attend and coordinate meeting arrangements, communicate with program team leads, serve as PMO point of contact for administrative tasking, assist with booking travel and processing expense reports, creating shipping labels and effectively managing concurrent administrative requests across team members. The candidate will require successful attainment of a government clearance and must possess strong interpersonal, organization and computer skills.
Location: Work is performed primarily remote but local proximity is required for on-site collaboration and meetings as required. The on-site work is at 28 Jacome Way, Middletown, RI, and/or the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport.
Growth: Our management team is focused on enabling our team to succeed and achieve long term career goals and promoting leaders from within our programs. We have multiple long-term programs within the local area and are continuously pursuing similar expansions in the future.

Job Duties:
- Assists PM as the conduit for corporate initiatives and communications.
- Responsible for all program travel requests, booking and expense reports.
- Performs routine and non-routine tasks including special projects.
- Responds to employee inquiries and other office administrative duties as required.
- Interacts with other support staff and executive team leads to gather, supply or coordinate information.
- Contributes to the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reviews and formats various Microsoft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations to support Government contract deliverables.
- Takes and distributes meeting minutes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years or more related experience.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- MS Office proficiency including Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, specifically strong skillset in formatting and developing MS PowerPoint presentations.
- Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently with changing deadlines and priorities.
- Must be able to work in a collaborative and dynamic team environment while completing tasks in an unsupervised and self-directed fashion.
- Desires to be part of a well-established but expanding team that values and rewards quick learning, proactivity and Team-First mindsets.
