Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Northport, Alabama. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/16/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Holiday Incentive Contract Lengths: 16 -20 weeks options Please submit for more details Margin/OT Billing Rules - Candidates contracted for 48 hours - OT is billed after 48hrs ITC & perm staff must have been termed for at least 6 months Nursys: No hits are allowed, if there is a hit of ANY kind it is an automatic redirect Locals are welcome to submit Specialty: MS/Tele - 36H or 48H options MS/Tele Ratios: 1:5/6 with occasional 1:7. This is a fast pace/high case load facility – please ensure candidates are cleared on the job requirements prior to submitting. Experience Required: At least 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience required as the patients on this unit need to be cardiac monitored from time to time First time travelers are accepted Certifications required: BCLS Must pass cardiac exam at orientation Every other weekend required Floating Required: Must be willing to float to other areas including other DCH facilities and other MS/Tele units Work setting required or patient age group-:Adults and geriatrics Special handling equipment: Sara Steady, Hoyer Lift Unit Details Unit is intended to take patients that still need to be hospitalized but also need intensive therapy. Patients will participate in therapy for 3 hours per day. Patient Diagnoses: CVA, Parkinson, Spinal Cord Injuries, MVA, Debility, TBI. 6 weekend shifts per contract Scrub color: Navy Aya Offer information: Once candidate has signed and confirmation sent, manager has 48H to review the profile and confirm fit. Aya Offer available if no RTO and clinical pass meets specific facility requirements. Return travelers not eligible for Aya Offer. Holiday Policy 2024 - Allowed (1) holiday RTO request in contract from the following holiday list: Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day Travelers can have up to 3 consecutive days off surrounding the holiday but may not include more than one holiday (example: 12/22-12/24 or 1/1-1/3).
