Job Details Epic experience REQUIRED Competency test required within 48 hours of submission, sent via candidate's email 2 Years of ICU staff experience required The Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (SICU and Neuro ICU) has a combined total of 30 intensive care beds The focus of care includes patients with life-threatening conditions related to major elective and emergency surgical procedures, multi-trauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, stroke, seizure, sepsis/multi-organ system failure, hemodynamic instability, and failure to wean SICU-Neuro ICU nurses require a skill set including ICP monitoring, spinal drains/catheters, brain oxygen monitoring, and more Nursing will support on-unit procedures including placement of arterial lines, central lines, external ventricular drains, and more MUST have competency with EVDs, bolts, ICP management along with experience with trauma and complex surgical patients Job Requirements Epic experience REQUIRED 2 Years of ICU staff experience required Must have competency with EVDs, bolts, ICP management Experience with trauma and complex surgical patients required Schedule Information Information on work schedule needed (e.g., days needed, hours or shift) Unit Specific Information The Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit has a combined total of 30 intensive care beds Usual 50/50 split of patient population between the neuro and surgical patient population Focus of care includes life-threatening conditions such as major elective and emergency surgical procedures, multi-trauma, etc Nurses support on-unit procedures such as placement of arterial lines, central lines, etc Additional Details Reason for opening (special, internal vacancy, leave coverage) How long has it been open?
