Details for inpatient position:
- The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is located in a 144-bed, state-of-the-art psychiatric inpatient treatment facility
1 story facility; 24-beds on each unit with capacity to sub-divide into 11 & 13- bed units - Semi private and private patient rooms; visible, on unit patient care areas for clinical group therapy, individual therapy & group activities with a private patient courtyard for every 24- bed complement; expansive patient cafeteria for off-unit dining with large private outdoor dining space that also serves as additional outdoor activity space for patients; and two half court indoor gyms for off-unit activates
- Weekday rounding for adult, child and adolescents, working closely with unit psychiatrist
Provider lounge includes 2 sleeping rooms and full bathrooms, large spacious private lounge for dining with computers and comfortable seating.

Responsibilities:
- Makes a comprehensive physical assessment of patients consistent with training and education;
- Performs physical examinations on patients admitted for medication maintenance;
- Ensures physician medication orders are being followed. Refers patients to appropriate physicians and consults with the supervising physician;
- Evaluates patient care, adjusting the plan of care based on outcomes, diagnostic test results, and patient feedback;
- Provides patient and staff education on medication maintenance;
- Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF Standards, and clinic policy and procedure;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, from an accredited college or university
- No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment
Licenses/Certifications:
- Licensed to practice in the state in which the clinic operates.
- DEA license.
